PREDESTINATION

There is a biblical teaching regarding Foreordination/Predestination of the God of Heaven. But there is a false theory of man, while using the same subject title which makes God the author of both good and evil! Did almighty God, before the foundation of the world, foreordain and predestine the soul of every individual person before he/she was born? Some Churches teach that by the decree of God, for the manifestation of his glory, some men and angels are predestined unto everlasting life, and others foreordained to everlasting death. These angels and men thus predestined and foreordained are particularly and unchangeably designed, and their number is so certain and definite that it cannot be either increased or diminished.... It should be observed that the predestination theory, is just that a theory, asserts that God did unchangeably ordain whatever comes to pass. If a thing is forever unchangeable, it cannot be changed by God or man.

This theory would, therefore would make it impossible for man to err; while at the same time, it would make God both good and evil. Man could then do no evil because whatever he does, good or evil, God unchangeably foreordained whatsoever comes to pass. "Thou shall not kill", was a command from God. Yet Cain killed Abel, all because God unchangeably foreordained whatsoever comes to pass. Can you imagine God commanding, "Thou shall not kill"; Yet, God foreordaining that Cain should kill his brother, which he could not change his mind, because God so ordained it that way. Oh, how foolish it would be to preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, to Jew or Gentile, as God's power to save the believer if it were foreordained that salvation is not conditional on our response! We can decide to live eternally or else we can suffer to be lost forever! It's our choice!
