Ode to my Mom (Nana)
Why do we wait,
sometimes forget and put-off saying
Telling our dear
loved ones, that is, if we dare,
We're s-o-o-o so
busy with our own daily living
Just taking for
granted that they know we care.
Just a simple call
on the telephone
Or drop in even
for a short visit,
It tells them that
they are not alone
And that's not too
time consuming, is it?
From this day
forward we're lettin' you know
No matter how
forgetful has been our past,
We are telling you
now, we surely love you so
And this poem will
certainly not be our last.
So Happy ?
th Birthday and many, many more
Now make a big
wish for something that you wanta',
You deserve better
than you've ever had before
Cause you are the
W-O-R-L-D-S best NANA.
