MY LABEL DOESN'T FIT YOUR PIGEON HOLE

Why is it when we first meet some one and inquiry of their spiritual and religious convictions, we ask about their past affiliations with particular groups. We are uncomfortable with those few, who think for themselves and don't fit into any preconceived mold we might thought for them to resemble. We like to know where people are coming from as well as where they are going. We label everything and everybody, also trying to pigeon-hole them into a certain set of beliefs, so we can use it to our advantage. Some say, "I'm a liberal, I'm a conservative, I'm this or I'm that, depending on the position as we see ourselves, but when others see us they label us as they think of us in comparing us with their belief system. I may be liberal to some, conservative to others, truly a fanatic to others, not necessarily where I honestly belong, but that's where others put us when we differ with them. I am liberal in some ways and I am conservative in other ways, but what is wrong with just trying to be Biblical in all our ways.

The only camp I care to be aligned with is that of the body of Christ. Just being a Christian only, not just being the only Christian. I have lots of brethren scattered along the hills of denominationalism, and I love them dearly, and all of them are just like me, still learning what it is to serve God as best they can. None of us knows all truth, and none of us has all error. Growing up in Christ is what it is all about! We truly do need each other in the battle of life, as Satan is after the minds of each one of us. He knows he is going to lose the final war, so he is trying to win some of the small skirmishes along the way, by taking as many to Hell with him. He cares less if you are 100% for him or not, just don't be 100% for Jesus Christ. That's the only criteria for being a child of God or a child of the Devil, it's whom we yield ourselves to serve here on this earth. Whose side are you on?  As for me and my house we will serve Christ! The only un-label for all of the people of God is "CHRISTIAN"!  In fact the whole world can be divided into only two classes of people..... The Saved & Lost; Sheep & Goats; God's Family & Satan's Coven, and there's many other metaphors used to describe the relationships we have with the ONE we serve, whether good or evil. We will reap what we have sown in this life.... 'the fields are white unto harvest', so let's each of us put our hands to the plow and not look back, because the time is nearer than when we first believed!
